FAQ

There is an hourglass symbol on the display. What does it represent?

It means that the initial ‘warm-up’ phase is not yet complete. KOALA must be turned ON while ensuring it remains perfectly still. Once the ‘warm-up’ phase is complete, the hourglass disappears, and KOALA can be moved.
Alternatively, manually start the STABILIZATION procedure.

I have connected everything, but I see that the tracking data is not being generated.

If you see the data changing on the INFO > DATA screen but it is not reaching the workstation, it is likely a network configuration issue. Check the destination IP and port if it’s an Ethernet connection, or verify the serial parameters as indicated in the manual.

If the data does not change even on the INFO > DATA screen, it means the SYNC signal is missing. You can temporarily try setting a manual data rate in the web interface, but in a broadcast environment, it is absolutely necessary to use the SYNC signal (Genlock PAL or NTSC).

I moved KOALA, and now the virtual scene is not leveled in TILT and ROLL.

You need to redo the AUTOLEVEL procedure. If you are using KOALA on a tripod, level the tripod, the head, and the camera, then start the AUTOLEVEL function. If KOALA is mounted on a crane, everything must be aligned starting from the tripod, the crane support, the crane, the head support, the head, and the camera. Once everything is leveled, start the AUTOLEVEL function.

AUTOLEVEL needs to be redone if KOALA or the KOALA CRANE option is moved or reassembled.

Do I have the option to view an event LOG?

Yes, on the webpage there is a section on the right side that lists the event log.
